General Terms and Conditions

1. Introductory provisions

These General Terms and Conditions (the ‘Terms’) govern the legal relationship between the seller and the buyer in the online shop at www.strenkwinery.sk, operated by:

A buyer is any customer who submits an order through this online shop. By submitting an order, the buyer confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms.

2. Orders and conclusion of the contract

Orders may be placed through the online shop, by phone or by email. An order constitutes an offer to enter into a purchase contract. The purchase contract is concluded when the seller confirms the order.

3. Prices and payment

All prices in the online shop include VAT in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic.

The buyer may pay by cash on delivery or bank transfer.

A tax document (invoice) will be included with the shipment or sent by email.

4. Delivery

Goods are delivered by courier to the address provided in the order. Delivery normally takes 2–5 business days. The customer will be contacted if an item is out of stock.

Shipping and packaging are charged according to the current price list published on the website.

5. Complaints

Complaints are governed by the Slovak Civil Code and Act No. 250/2007 Coll. on Consumer Protection.

The buyer may make a complaint about defective or damaged goods.

Complaints must be reported to info@strenkwinery.sk with the order number and a description of the defect.

A complaint will be resolved within 30 days of submission at the latest.

6. Withdrawal from the contract (consumer right)

Consumers may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with Act No. 102/2014 Coll.

Goods must not have been opened, used or otherwise diminished in value. The buyer bears the return shipping costs.

After receiving the returned goods, the seller will refund the purchase price within 14 days.

7. Personal data protection

The seller processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection.

8. Dealcoholized wines

The dealcoholized wines sold contain less than 0.5% alcohol by volume and are not subject to an age restriction.

Nevertheless, we recommend that the product not be consumed by people for whom any alcohol content is unsuitable, including people with liver disease or in abstinence.

9. Final provisions

These Terms are effective from 1 June 2025.

The seller may amend these Terms. Changes take effect when published on the online shop website.

10. User registration

Registration in the online shop is voluntary. Registered users can review orders, check out faster and, with consent, receive information about special offers or promotions.

Registration details must be valid and accurate. Users must keep their login credentials confidential and protect them against misuse.
